Royal Doulton Tableware

Royal Doulton has been making some of the finest dinnerware and serve ware in England for nearly 200 years. Since their beginning as a stoneware company, Royal Doulton has caught the eye of discriminating tastes. In fact, the name “Royal” was appended when Edward VII gave Doulton the Royal Warrant for supplying its products to the sovereign’s household. Today, Royal Doulton continues to carry the weight of excellence, producing collections for world-class chefs Gordon Ramsay and Donna Hay.

Their 1815 Collection represents the continued dedication to excellence that marked the company’s beginnings. Simplicity and elegance are embodied in every piece, and subtle splashes of colour give a contemporary touch to this classic collection. Each piece is created with quality and craftsmanship in mind and will give you a mark of distinction for many years to come.

Although the Royal Doulton 1815 Collection points back to the company’s 19th Century origin, the pieces in the collection are a modern twist on classic designs. The tapas bowls and serving board can give your next get-together flair found in the trendiest restaurants. Paired with their set of tapas plates and dip trays, your fête will be the talk of the town.

In 2015, Royal Doulton added to their range the Barber & Osgerby collection, a collaboration of the industrial designer duo, Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby from the design firm Barber & Osgerby. These internationally acclaimed designers founded their London-based studio in 1996 and are famous for their diverse range of works combining industrial design, furniture, lighting and site-specific installations. They also designed the London 2012 Olympic Torch and the 2-pound coin for the Royal Mint. Barber and Osgerby bring a huge amount of understanding and respect for British craft to their work with Royal Doulton. Their newly released Olio collection is a combination of contemporary design with natural earthy colours. The eclectic collection combines soft neutrals, terracotta or black in a range of shapes and materials, from round teapots to rectangular serving boards which work harmoniously. Visually the Olio tableware collection is effortlessly stylish and looks fantastic in many home settings.

This year we have added the newest addition, extending Gordon Ramsay's line with the Union Street collection, tableware with bold and rustic colours inspired from Ramsay's famous Union Street Cafe in London. These are a perfect addition to those who want to brighten up their table when entertaining with their stunning teal blue and beige colour mix and match combinations. With a modern Italian influence and fresh feel, these present beautifully on any dark wood or white table.

A long-term favourite of Royal Doulton Gordon Ramsay collaboration is the Gordon Ramsay Maze collection which combines everyday durability while highlighting food presentation. The Maze Dinnerware Collection is contemporary and stylish featuring a subtle glaze and decorated with embossed concentric circles that attract the eye towards the centre of each piece, great for food presentation while being casual for every day. Every Maze dinner set or complimentary serving piece is dishwasher and microwave safe. As a best-seller for many years, this range continues to expand with new colours that are on-trend.
